I’m a writer, writing coach, and mindfulness instructor.

My work has appeared in The New York Times, New York Press, Paste, East Bay Express, Sculpture, and The Southampton Review, as well as on Today.com. I’m writing a memoir connected to my Modern Love essay, “Auditioning for the Role of Boyfriend.”

Before I moved to Atlanta in 2024 to start a new position as a writing coach, I taught English and was an advisor at the City University of New York - LaGuardia Community College. Prior to that, I produced and directed audiobooks at Simon & Schuster.

I’m a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher and trained in MBSR at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness. I’m also a certified mindfulness instructor through the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults. I completed additional workshops in trauma-informed mindfulness practices through the Lineage Project.
